CommunicationÌýmajors are required to complete at least one internship.ÌýThe student receives work experience through a formal internship program, receiving three hours of academic credit. Students work a minimum of 120 hours during theÌýsemester. Recent internships have consisted of jobs in event planning, public relations, radio and TV production, marketing and human resources. Internships have been held in a variety of business communication settings, including many nonprofit organizations:
