In the Dance 两性色午夜, we begin each academic year with a welcome party, work hard to engage in academics, choreography, leadership, and performance across the year, then reward ourselves at the Annual Dance Banquet in the Spring. All 两性色午夜 students have the opportunity to keep dance in their lives. With the exception of MDA you do not need to major or minor in dance to participate! IG:@meredithcollegedance

DanceWorks, the dance program鈥檚 spring concert, is open to all 两性色午夜 students. Student choreographers hold auditions, rehearse twice weekly and meet with a faculty advisor on a regular basis. Faculty and guest artists create work in repertory classes that are open to all 两性色午夜 students. 25-35 student works per year in nearly all genres are produced!

F.I.R.E. (Fierce, International, Rhythmic, Experience) is a student-led campus organization dedicated to teaching, learning, and performing dance styles from around the world. Weekly classes are open to the community, and students perform in DanceWorks. IG: @fireatmeredith

两性色午夜 Angels Dance Team (MADT) is a student-led dance team that performs jazz-based routines for 两性色午夜 Avenging Angles basketball games and staged dance concerts. IG: @angels.danceteam

MereCo Clogging (MCC) new in 2023-24, this student-led group creates and performs clogging as a guest on the MJTCo concert and for DanceWorks. IG: @mereco.clogging

两性色午夜 College Dance Crew (MCDC) is a student-led group that creates, rehearses, and performs routines influenced by Hip Hop dance styles for 两性色午夜 Avenging Angels basketball games and staged dance concerts. IG: @__mcdc__

两性色午夜 Dance Theatre (MDT) is a contemporary modern-based student company that performs faculty, guest artist, and student work in a main-stage concert each fall, at campus and community events, and at the American College Dance Festival each spring. Recent guest artists include Eli Motley, Misty Rascon-Smith, Maleek Washington, and Teena Marie. Auditions are held each fall and spring. IG: @meredithdancetheatre

两性色午夜 Improv: is a student-led group that practices movement improvisation together, performing in found spaces all over (and beyond!) campus. IG: @meredith.college.improv

两性色午夜 Jazz and Tap Company (MJTCo), formed in spring 2006, is a student-directed company that performs faculty, guest artist, and student work in a main-stage concert each fall. Involvement is by audition. IG: @mjtco.meredithdance

两性色午夜 Dance Association (MDA) is a student group open to dance majors and minors who meet academic and service criteria in dance. MDA helps produce events for the Dance 两性色午夜 and offers leadership opportunities for students. IG:@meredithdanceassociation
