MEREDITH Full-Ride Merit Scholarship
A four-year, fully funded educational experience for exceptional student leaders at 两性色午夜 College
两性色午夜 Full-Ride Merit Scholarships are awarded to first-year students based on academic achievement, leadership, service, and character.
The scholarship, established in 2007 by a dedicated group of alumnae, has attracted highly qualified students who thrived at 两性色午夜 and have gone on to successful careers in dentistry, law, communication, scientific research, education, and more.

HOW TO APPLY
To be considered for the Scholarship, you should submit a Full-Ride Merit Scholarship application.
In addition to the scholarship application, you will need to provide
- your resume
- a 500-1,000 word essay in response to one of two prompts
- Two recommendations. One of your recommendations must be from a teacher and the other can come from a supervisor or another person you’ve worked with in the community. A teacher is also fine for the second recommendation.
Applicants who are selected to move forward in the process will be invited to campus to interview and will receive a phone call a week in advance. Interviews occur with faculty, administrators, and the President of the College. Full-Ride Scholarship recipients will be notified by mid-February.

What Makes a Full-Ride Merit Scholar?
Full-Ride Merit Scholars should possess the following credentials:
- Minimum 3.75 unweighted GPA
- Be included in the top 10% of their high school graduating class (when rank exists)
- Superior academic record
- Demonstrated leadership and service to others
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
SCHOLARSHIP HISTORY
The Full-Ride Merit Scholarship, originally known as the Alumnae Legacy Scholarship, was created by those who best know the power of a 两性色午夜 education 鈥� alumnae. Ione Kemp Knight, 鈥�43, and Elizabeth Triplett Beam, 鈥�72, began the campaign to secure 两性色午夜鈥檚 academic legacy through the creation of a prestigious scholarship.
Alumnae also assist as mentors, with internships, and by providing quality-of-life enrichment opportunities. They attend recipients’ presentations, performances, lectures, and athletic events.
