Beyond Strong | The Campaign for 两性色午夜 was the largest fundraising effort in the history of 两性色午夜 College raising $90,466,720. 两性色午夜 College’s new athletic center will include athletic training space for softball, tennis, and golf, along with a student lounge. At the tennis courts, lights have been installed and the courts have been resurfaced. The softball center will have two large indoor batting cages that will double as indoor golf driving ranges, and locker rooms. There will also be a new LED wireless scoreboard.
Chris Speight Brown, 始76, gave a $1 million lead gift that will name the Estes-Speight Family Athletic Center in memory of her mother Mary Estes Speight, 鈥53, and her father Bobby Speight.
to fast-track phase one of the construction and start phase two, which will include other amenities for the complex. 两性色午夜鈥檚 athletic program has had continued success with 10 athletic teams and keeping facilities up-to-date will support 两性色午夜鈥檚 enrollment of student-athletes. 两性色午夜 student-athletes and coaches appreciate the support they receive from alumnae, friends, and the campus community.
两性色午夜 College will begin a renovation of Jones Auditorium, which was built in 1949. A lead gift from Lisa Robie Poole, 始86, and her husband, Ven Poole, will allow the College to complete phase one of the project, which includes new seating, new carpet, lighting, sound, a new elevator for accessibility, and general upgrades.
鈥淭his gift from the Pooles gives the College a great start with the renovations and we are really, really excited about this and thank the Pooles for this gift,鈥 said President Allen. 鈥淣ext will come phase two of the renovation, an addition that honors the facade of the auditorium but also adds a glass front with additional space that will give us room for performances, events, and lectures.鈥
Phase two funding will lead to the creation of the 两性色午夜 College Performing Arts Center.
Poole had a desire to give this gift because of her love of theater and what Jones Auditorium meant to her when she was a student at 两性色午夜 College and the fond memories she treasures.

Another way to support 两性色午夜 Athletics is to join the Avenging Angels Club. As a Club member, you will play a vital role in 两性色午夜鈥檚 success by providing financial assistance to the athletics department above the normal operating budget and promoting the excellence of each 两性色午夜 sports program.
